Homer-Center High School recognizes students that maintain an overall combined year cumulative grade average of 98% - 110% through the first three academic quarters as Summa Scholars.

Homer-Center High School held the annual Awards Night Ceremony on May 24, 2011.  Students were presented with scholarships and other academic awards.

and Patrick Yurky have been selected to receive the Heritage Conference Scholarship.  The scholarship recognizes a male and female from each member school that excels in the areas of Academics, Activities and Athletics.

Patrick Clark was selected as a "Top Performer" by the Pennsylvania Youth and Government Committee Advisers at the Youth and Government State Conference in April.

Sophomore Christian Mintzer won 1st Place for Cover Design in the recent Newspaper in Education (NIE) Contest.
Christian's design will be used as the cover for the NIE supplement in the March 31st Indiana Gazette.
