Physical Education (9-12)

Course Description - All students grades 9-12 must take the mandated Physical Education course each school year. This course is aligned with Pennsylvania Academic Standards for Physical Education from grades 9-12. Physical activities included are: muscle strength and endurance exercises, cardiorespiratory endurance exercises, abs classes, circuit training, interval training, aerobic/anaerobic workouts, rollerblading, exercise tabatas, cross-fit body weight workouts, and flexibility exercises, as well as several individual and group activities/sports. (Examples: speed football, soccer, floor hockey, whiffleball, ultimate frisbee, agility ball, frisbee golf, table tennis, adventure activities, golf, bocce, team handball, basketball, and more.)
