Biography

Hello!  This is my first year teaching at Homer-Center and I am so excited for this new adventure.  I graduated from Indiana High School and then attended Westminster College.  I majored in Fine Art and Spanish and I also played soccer collegiately.  I studied abroad in Spain for my entire junior year of college.  Upon graduation, I taught both art and Spanish at Hampton Roads Academy in Newport News, VA.  After two years, I came back to my hometown and earned my PA teaching certificate from IUP.  I started working at Blairsville High School in 2012.  I live with my husband and we have three kids, ages 7, 5 and 2.  We have a chocolate lab, bunny and two parakeets.  I love gardening and doing anything outdoors.
