Anatomy

Anatomy is a year-long course that focuses on body system structure and function.  We will use multiple sources of information throughout the year.  Students will receive a textbook in class, note guides, and many other diagrams and handouts.  We will also use several online resources to enhance student learning.  Common online sources include study.com and crash courses. 
Students will be evaluated throughout a variety of tests and assignments on a regular basis.  Some units will include projects and written papers for assessment as well.

  • Organ Systems of the Body
  • Body Tissues
  • Integumentary System and Body Membranes
  • Skeletal System
  • Nervous System
  • Senses
  • Endocrine System
  • Circulatory System
  • Lymphatic System
  • Blood
  • Respiratory System
  •  Digestive System
  • Reproductive System
