HOMER-CENTER ANTI-BULLYING POLICY & INFORMATION
A summary of the Homer-Center School District bullying policy (attached below) is posted in all high school classrooms. Additionally, a deeper explanation of the policy is published annually in the student handbook that is sent home to parents the first day of school each year.  The handbook can also be accessed by clicking student handbook from the sidebar.

HOMER-CENTER STUDENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

Homer-Center does not offer Driver Education.

PENN DOT SAFETY MESSAGE
With the new school year in full swing, PennDOT is reminding young drivers and parents/caregivers alike of the state’s laws regarding child passenger safety. Drivers or passengers under 18 years of age must buckle up. Children under 8 years old must be properly restrained. This is a primary law, which means that police will pull you over, write you a ticket and if convicted, you’ll have to pay a fine. To learn about recommendations on child safety seats as well as the state’s law for wearing seat belts over age 18, visit www.JustDrivePA.com.

TEEN VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
There are numerous opportunities for our students to volunteer in the Homer-Center community and within Indiana County.
Students wishing to learn more about volunteer opportunities should see their guidance counselors for more information and to discuss options
