OBJECTIVES
At the end of this lesson, students should be able to:
Define forensic science.
Define death from a forensic standpoint.
Differentiate between the terms: manner, mechanism, and cause of death.
Be able to identify scientific names for mechanism of death such as: exsanguination, asphyxiations, cardiac arrest, hemorrhaging  
Explain how the following latin-based medical terms relate to determining time since death: rigor mortis, algor mortis, livor mortis
Utilize the following terms properly in context as they relate to forensic science: autolysis, decomposition, putrefaction.


Your Assignment:
Create a google document table with three columns.  The headings of the columns should be the following in this order: TERM, DEFINITION, EXAMPLE/IMAGE.
Be sure that all of the information from the objectives and your teacher is placed into the document as a study tool for THE SCIENCE OF DEATH.
