VOTE FOR HOMER-CENTER
Homer-Center Wildcats Are in the Running!
Friday Night 5G Lights: Our Town. Our Team. Our Future.
Homer-Center Jr./Sr. High School has been named one of the 40 Division Finalists in T-Mobile’s 2026 Friday Night 5G Lights competition! We are proud to represent Homer City, Pennsylvania, and the entire Homer-Center community on the national stage.
Friday Night 5G Lights is a nationwide T-Mobile initiative that celebrates the spirit of small-town America and the powerful connection between high school football, school pride, and community. The program gives schools the opportunity to compete for funding that can make a lasting difference for their students, athletes, and communities.
Homer-Center is now competing in the East Division, where our goal is to earn the most public votes and become one of four Division Champions nationwide.
What Are We Competing For?
As a Division Finalist, Homer-Center has earned a $25,000 school award and a T-Mobile-hosted home game celebration. But we have an even bigger opportunity ahead!
If Homer-Center earns the most votes in the East Division, we will receive:
- $250,000 for our school
- A Gronk Fitness gym upgrade valued at $90,000
- A $5,000 “The Big Deal” Student Leadership Award for a student selected by the school for their leadership in inspiring and organizing our community.
Winning our division would also advance Homer-Center to the final round, where we would compete against the other three Division Champions for the ultimate prize: a $1 million home field upgrade and a special tailgate celebration and field unveiling in 2027.
How Can You Help the Wildcats Win?
Every day is an opportunity to make a difference! The Division Finalists are competing based on public votes, making community participation essential to our success.
Here is how you can help:
- Vote every day. Visit FridayNight5GLights.com and cast your vote for Homer-Center. Eligible voters can vote once per day during the voting period.
- Spread the word. Encourage family members, friends, alumni, neighbors, and supporters near and far to vote for the Wildcats.
- Show your Wildcat pride. Share school spirit, community activities, photos, and videos on social media. Tag your school and @TMobile, and use #FN5GL and #Entry.
- Participate in Spirit Week challenges. T-Mobile offers special social media challenges that give Division Finalists opportunities to earn bonus votes.
More Than a Football Field
This competition is about more than football. It is an opportunity to showcase what makes Homer-Center special: our students, our traditions, our dedicated families, our alumni, and a community that comes together when it matters most.
The chance to secure $250,000 for our school—and potentially a $1 million field upgrade—could create meaningful opportunities for future Wildcats for years to come.
We have earned our place among the nation's top 40 schools. Now it is time to show the country what Wildcat pride looks like!
One school. One community. One Wildcat family. Let's rally together and bring this home!
GO WILDCATS!
